Blue Square South club Maidenhead United`s manager Johnson Hippolyte has signed a two-year extension to his contract which ends in May.
The deal will tie him to the club until 2012.
Hippolyte joined the club in October 2006 from Yeading. That season ended in triumph as the Magpies won promotion from the Southern League back to the Blue Square South via the play offs.
The Magpies have gone onto consolidate their position at the highest level of regional English football, finishing sixth last season.
Hippolyte has also taken the club to the First Round proper of the FA Cup for the first time in a generation and reached the Berks & Bucks Cup Final in his first season at York Road.
Speaking about the appointment, chairman Peter Griffin said: “The stability this continues to bring to the club is essential, especially so with a younger, developing squad.
“I think the key to the long term relationship between the club and Drax is our shared goals and ambitions – which have changed significantly over the last year.
“We are very much in tune about the way forwards for Maidenhead United and the way Drax has gone about assembling and developing this seasons squad demonstrates that.
“The amount of cooperation and atmosphere at the club – between playing squad, management, Board of Directors, MUSA and the supporters is excellent. Our challenge is to keep things going as they are and to develop these relationships further.”
