Rovers Snap up Styche
26 January 2010 12:22:00

Blue Square Premier club Forest Green Rovers have confirmed that they have completed the signing of 19-year-old striker Reece Styche from UniBond League Division One South side Chasetown.

Styche, who has only been with the Staffordshire club since October after previously being with Hednesford Town, has scored an impressive thirteen goals in fifteen appearances and his final appearance last Saturday for the Scholars at Witton Albion saw him bag the winning goal in their 2-1 victory to take Chasetown to the top of the league.

Manager David Hockaday is thrilled at securing a player who he believes will make it to the very top and the 6 ' 1" Birmingham-based player goes straight into the Rovers` squad for their important trip to Hayes & Yeading United on Tuesday, with him being handed the number nine shirt vacated by Andy Mangan.
