Blue Square Premier club have signed winger Luke Holden from Principality Welsh Premier side Rhyl on loan until the end of the season.
Highly-rated Holden recently finished a loan spell at Coca-Cola League One outfit Charlton Athletic but made just one appearance for The Valley club in a 2-1 Football League Trophy defeat to Southampton.
Holden joined Rhyl in January 2009 and is a former Liverpool and Tranmere youth player.
He also had a stint at The New Saints, Cammell Laird and Bradford Park Avenue.
The left-sided midfielder helped Rhyl win the Welsh Premier title last season and Dragons` boss Dean Saunders hopes Holden can bolster his side`s push for promotion back to the Football League.
FIFA rules state a player cannot play for three clubs in one season but Wrexham were permitted to sign the 21-year-old on an emergency loan deal.
