Redditch Lose Byrne

Blue Square North club Redditch United are stepping up their search for new faces as they bid farewell to key midfielder Jack Byrne on Tuesday night.
Byrne will play for the final time for the Reds in their game at Stafford Rangers before joining Blue Square Premier neighbours Kidderminster Harriers.
With veteran striker Carl Heggs also having rejoined league rivals Hinckley United, Byrne’s exit means the Reds have lost eight senior players since the turn of the year and manager Gary Whild says they quickly need to bolster the squad.
