Jerry Gill has tendered his resignation of manager of Blue Square South bottom-markers Weymouth.
The former Birmingham City and Yeovil defender had only been in the post for forty-four days, but had his resignation accepted by Terras` chairman George Rolls, who said: “After speaking with Jerry I have excepted the resignation.
“Since Jerry came to the club, he has had to work with a very limited budget and has proven to the players and myself that his coaching abilities are first class. With further budget cuts Jerry couldnt afford to continue as the manager as he was travelling from his home Birmingham three times a week.”
