Four Farsley Players Find New Home at Harrogate
12 March 2010 17:52:00

Blue Square North bottom-markers Harrogate Town have announced the signing of four new players.

Arriving at the CNG Stadium are midfielders Dave Syers, Roy Stamer and Liam Shepherd, and defender Josh Radcliffe who is a local lad.

All four join from Farsley Celtic following the sad demise of the West Leeds club.

Syers (pictured) is a name that will be familiar to Harrogate supporters having made three appearances for the club last April.

In the summer the ex-Ossett Albion player opted for a move to Farsley and has been a revelation, scoring nine league goals so far this season.

German-born winger Stamer is well known in local non-League circles, having previously played for Guiseley and Bradford Park Avenue as well as Farsley.

Shepherd and Radcliffe both joined Farsley last summer after coming up through York City's youth ranks – Radccliffe scoring the winning goal for Farsley in their 2-1 win against Town at Throstle Nest earlier this season.

Shepherd and Radcliffe will be in the squad for Saturday`s match at Stalybridge Celtic, but Syers and Stamer are not available.
