Former Belper Town and Glapwell striker Jamie Walker`s Annual Charity Game....
....in aid of the Lymphoma Association, the King’s Mill Childrens’ Ward and the Nicholas Fund, will take place this year on Sunday, April 25th (kick-off 3 pm) at Mansfield Town’s Field Mill Stadium.
Walker was struck down with the disease during his time at Belper.
The game will be between a Jamie Walker/Scott Sellars Select XI and a TV Soaps All-Stars XI.
Several big TV soap stars names including Hollyoaks – Anthony Quinlan (Gilly), Nico Mirallegro (Newt), Danny Tennant (Natty, Emmerdale – Danny Miller, Adam Thomas, Glen Lamont, Luke Tittensor (Daz), Kelvin Fletcher (Andy Sugden) Emmerdale/Doctors – Daniel Jillings (capt), Casualty – Luke Bailey (Sam Bateman), Shameless – Elliott Tittensor Dancing on Ice – Danny Young, TV Presenter – Jeff Brazier, Big Brother – Anthony Hutton have all confirmed.
The Select XI will include former Stags and Premiership legends – Simon Coleman, Andy Beasley, Bobby McDonald, Les McJannett, Alex Baptiste, John Beresford and Richie Barker.
Tickets may be bought via the Mansfield Town website as well as pay on the gate.
