Deverdics needs no introduction to Dover fans after he captained the Whites
into the National League play-off semi-finals last season.
The 29-year old
Geordie, who is in line to make his return in the home league clash with
Wrexham on Saturday, joined Pools last summer after spending two seasons at
the move north, Deverdics has made twenty-four appearances, scoring twice.
He made a total
of ninety-four appearances for Dover after joining in July 2014.
Deverdics scored 16 goals last season, including 14 in the league.
Newcastle United trainee also finished the season with eighteen assists - the
best in the league – and was widely regarded as being one of the best players
in the National League.
During his career,
Deverdics has also played twenty-six times for Gretna in the Scottish Premier
League as well as having spells at Gateshead, Barnet and Blyth Spartans.
He signed for
Dover after playing in the Faroe Islands for top-flight club TB Tvoroyri.
