City Keeper Extends Rovers` Stay

The legend that is Steve Ogrizovic of Coventry City attended Forest Green Rovers Blue Square Premier fixture at Luton Town on Tuesday night to cast his eye on the Sky Blues` number three.

Danny Ireland has been on loan at the New Lawn for almost a month, and after being impressed with the youngsters performance, it was agreed after the match that the 21-year-old would remain with the Gloucestershire outfit until the end of the season, subject to the normal recall notice for goalkeepers.

Rovers` manager David Hockaday is pleased to retain the services of such a classy 'keeper who has a promising future in the game, and is not suprised that Ireland is impressing his parent club and also Rovers `supporters with recent performances.
